Sostenibilidad Social

  • Emcocables is a Colombian company with 63 years of history dedicated to manufacture and commercial distribution and sale of steel WIRE ROPES, strands and wires, we currently employ over 350 people.
  • At Emcocables, we are committed to improving the quality of life for our workers and their families and creating a positive impact on society. We are motivated by our people and have implemented a series of actions to promote the well-being of all our human talent.

Diversity, Inclusion and Equality

  • We have credible hiring processes that provide equal opportunities to all individuals, regardless of their gender identity, beliefs, or culture. We prioritize human talent, soft skills and labor formality. One of Emcocables' pillars is to hire people from the region.
  • We promote an inclusive internal culture that embraces the company's values.
  • We are proud to promote female leadership, with 50% of management positions within the company occupied by women 
  • We have developed an initiative called "Women to the Plant," which offers formal and dignified opportunities for women to enter a labor market that has historically been dominated by male operators. We currently have a team of 41 female operators.
